Background
Shannon is a compassionate biblical counselor and speaker helping individuals identify the root cause of pain and brokenness in their lives, so they can experience true freedom in Christ.
Shannon is a licensed minister, who has over 20 years of combined experience in the fields of teaching, counseling, and ministry. She holds a Master's degree in Pastoral Counseling from Liberty University and a certification in Grief, Crisis, and Trauma Counseling from Talbot University.
Shannon's journey in counseling began as a lay counselor with expert grief and trauma counselor, Dr. H.Norman Wright in 2005, in his pilot support group dedicated to parents who had suffered the loss of a child.
Counseling Philosophy & Approach
Shannon believes every individual is extremely valuable to God, and each human has the potential to live a purposeful and abundant life as Jesus highlighted in John 10:10b: "I have come to give life and life to the full." However, in order for this to be realized, individuals are to partner with Jesus Christ and His ways. If embraced, biblical counseling can become the deepest form of discipleship, which can yield lasting joy and freedom.
